Wise Better Homes Taranaki
Wise Better Homes is a not for profit community based service that helps provide jobs and warmer houses by retrofitting home insulation in the Taranaki community. Each year, OMV sponsors the insulation for a number of homes for families that meet specified needs-based criteria.
Roderique Hope Trust
OMV NZ supports the Roderique Hope Trust by providing energy efficient heating and emergency supplies for Taranaki displaced families in immediate need.
Geological and Nuclear Sciences (GNS) Science School Geocamp
OMV NZ is funding the Wairarapa GeoCamps 2018-2020 in partnership with GNS Science, Statoil and Chevron. The GeoCamps are targeted at 10 to 13 year old students along with teachers involving hands-on and field-based investigations.
OMV New Zealand offers scholarship awards [link to criteria page] each valued at up to $10,000 for one academic year for Post-graduate candidates in Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Engineering. Up to three scholarships are offered annually.
In addition to OMV New Zealand corporate sponsorships we have supported, together with the other Maari JV partners, the completion of a new rescue boat for the Cape Egmont Sea Rescue Trust as well as committing to help with ongoing maintenance costs during the life of the Maari field.
