OMV recognized as Industry Mover in RobecoSAM Yearbook 2019
OMV achieves largest proportional improvement within the top 15% of the industry
Following its successful inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, OMV has now been named Industry Mover in the RobecoSAM Yearbook 2019. This recognition is given to the company with the largest proportional year-on-year improvement in its sustainability performance within the top 15% of the industry.
In 2018, 2,686 companies across 60 industries were evaluated by the SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) – widely known as RobecoSAM. Based on this assessment, the 2019 Yearbook summarizes the results, placing companies with the most significant economic, environmental and social achievements in the classes Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Every year since 2004, the Sustainability Yearbook has showcased the sustainability performance of the world’s largest companies in each industry as determined by their score in RobecoSAM’s annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
OMV's achievements in sustainability are evaluated every year by multiple ratings agencies in the fields of Environment, Society and Governance (ESG). In addition to RobecoSAM, its powerful performance has also been confirmed by CDP, MSCI, ISS oekom, FTSE4Good and Sustainalytics (STOXX).
